Fran and Lanny Replogle of Fenestra Winery invite the public to share the excitement of a busy winery during the crush at their “Harvest Wine Tasting”, Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30, 2007 from noon to 5:00 PM. This event will be held at Fenestra Winery, 83 Vallecitos Road, Livermore. There is no charge for this event.

Winemaker and owner Dr. Lanny Replogle is proud to introduce Fenestra’s new releases: 2006 Chardonnay (grapes from Bud Greist’s vineyard), 2006 Semonnay (61% Chardonnay/39% Semillon), 2006 Viognier, 2006 Dry Rosé, 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon LV and 2004 Estate Syrah. “I am really excited about all these wines. The Syrah has already won two Gold Medals and the Semonnay won “Best of Class” at the California State Fair. The Chardonnay, Viognier, and Livermore Valley Cabernet Sauvignon are all medals winners”.

Owner Fran Replogle says “Enjoy the charm of our renovated turn of the century winery building (now 118 years old), and the lovely green lawns, with lots of tables for picnicking” All Fenestra wines currently released (and the new releases) will be available for tasting.

Fall is an exciting time to come to the winery. The crush has already started, and the grapes look to be of high quality. There should be many new wines fermenting and aging. Dr. Replogle notes that “I can’t promise what the crush will be like the weekend of our Harvest Wine Tasting, but I am sure that you will enjoy it”.

Fenestra Winery is located near Highway 84, 6 miles east of 680. From 680 headed north: Take the 84 East Livermore exit, go 6 miles. Turn right at Vallecitos Road (stoplight). Go a quarter mile, winery entrance is on left.

From 580, take Airway Blvd. (Hwy 84) Exit to Kitty Hawk Road (stoplight). Follow Highway 84 (which becomes Isabel Ave.) to the Vallecitos Road/84 stoplight. Turn left, go a quarter mile. Winery Entrance is on left.
