FENESTRA WINERY HOLDS “13TH ANNUAL CHOCOLATE AND CABERNET WEEKEND

Fran and Lanny Replogle of Fenestra Winery invite the public to taste a variety of chocolate treats with the fine red wines of Fenestra at Fenestra’s “13th Annual Chocolate and Cabernet Weekend” on March 12 and 13, 2005, Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 5:00 pm. This event will be held at Fenestra Winery, 83 Vallecitos Road, Livermore.

This weekend will be the time to indulge your passion for chocolate and red wines. All the red wines of Fenestra Winery will be paired with chocolate delights. Featured wines will be; Fenestra’s classic Livermore Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, True Red, Sangiovese, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Port. These outstanding wines will be paired with chocolate treats. Gimanelli’s Deli will prepare savory surprises.

The $10.00 event charge includes a plate and logo wineglass. Event charge for children ages 5-12 is $ 5.00, ages 13-20 is $10.00 (includes plate and non-alcoholic beverage). There is no charge for children under 5 years old.

Fenestra Winery is located in an historic winery building built in 1889. It is six miles from the Livermore 84 exit off Interstate 680, on the left side of Vallecitos Road (formerly Highway 84). From 580, take Airway Blvd. (Hwy 84) Exit to Kittyhawk (stoplight). Turn right on Kittyhawk (which becomes Isabel Ave.) and follow out to Hwy. 84. Turn left, go a few hundred yards to entrance (on the left). The winery is open for tasting and sales every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5:00 PM.
